We’d like to introduce you to The Roadrunner Club!
The I-35 Booster Club & Interstate 35 Activities worked together create The Roadrunner Club. It launched today, March 3, 2023 and aims to generate annual, ongoing funding for The Booster Club so they can fulfill their mission – supporting athletics and activities for students, families and staff!
Memebership Perks
As a way to say THANK YOU to all our Roadrunner Club members, each $500 donation receives:
- Two exclusive Roadrunner Club T-shirts (new design and/or shirt color each year with your annual donation)
- Name(s) displayed on one of the Membership Walls in the HS gym with the year you joined the club on display – inaugural year 2023!
- Name(s) printed in the new full-color sports programs
- One live in-game mention at a home sporting event during the year
(Ex: 4-5 names are read aloud at the start/end of half-time)
These perks remain active with your annual $500 donation each spring.
How to Join
Donate online using our free-to-us platform, Zeffy. Or complete the paper form and return it to to the school office with a check make out to I-35 Booster Club.
Your Donation Makes an Impact
We have several large grant requests that we’d like to assist in funding. But due to the expense, we can’t help as much as we’d like. With sustainable, annual funding from The Roadrunner Club, we’ll be able to donate to large-dollar expenses every year. And there always requests because equipment wears out, uniforms need to be replaced, technology advances, ect.
Foundations for the Future Initiative
You might be wondering why your elementary student(s) also received a flier about this program. After all, they can’t participate in activities yet. The short answer is that we are trying to build a strong foundation for the future of our middle school and high school activities and athletics. This future belongs to your students.
By pooling the resources from our entire community – we can donate equipment, uniforms and more right now and for years to come. That way when your future middle schooler, and then high schooler, is old enough to join in extracurriculars, they’ll be able to be part of activites that are supplied, strong and successful (and have been for years) where they’ll get to make their own lifelong memories. Just as we are looking ahead on our facilities planning, we’re looking ahead on our funding support as well. Both are part of our Foundation for the Future initiative.
