After a week of workouts, speakers and some sore muscles – the Intense Camp 2023 is over for another year! All the finishers gathered for a celebration breakfast and get their T-shirt.
134 Roadrunners from 8th-12th grade participated in this year’s camp. Each day included a workout designed to push participants phyiscally and a guest speaker designed to help them grow mentally. Intense Camp is never easy, but the take-a-ways are worth the effort. Life-long lessons are taught and discussed to help our students become strong leaders, build confidence in themselves and their abilities, while learning the value of mental fortitude.
The I-35 Booster Club is glad we can be the prevailing sponsor to make it happen. We donated all of the T-shirts and helped with breakfast. And, of course, we couldn’t do it without our community support! Whether it’s through company donations, the new Roadrunner Club initiative or every time you make a concesssions purchase, you’re helping to support our mission. So thank you!
